Tahoe Time Vacation Rentals is a locally owned and operated, boutique-style company—not a large nationwide chain. As a small, family-run business, we take pride in offering a personalized, hands-on approach to hospitality. Our homes are carefully selected and located in the quieter, more scenic areas of Lake Tahoe, including the California North Shore, Olympic Valley, Alpine Meadows, the West Shore down to Rubicon Bay, and the Palisades at Tahoe ski area.

What makes our company stand out is our dedication to being here for you. As long-time locals (thirty plus years), we are always available to assist with your stay, ensuring a seamless and memorable Tahoe experience from booking to check-out. Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, we’re committed to making your time in Tahoe truly special.

REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 23-8379 | TOT #83683 | Max Occupancy is 6 | 3 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.

County Rules
As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.

Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone’s safety. It is each guest’s responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you’ll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.

Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it’s essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.

Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Lovely Ski Weekend
The house was cozy and a convenient location for us to get to Palisades and Alpine Meadows as quickly as possible during a crazy weekend!

Tahoe is magical
Mark Twain said that angels breathe the air of Lake Tahoe. I believe he is right and that the enchantment of the place endures over time. The cabin is magnificent, close to some excellent restaurants on the west coast and surrounded by beautiful trees. All this makes us want to return as soon as possible to this inspiring, creative, and revitalising paradise.

Great Cabin!
Our stay was great! We were greeted with a goodie basket of treats and clear instructions to maintain the home. We all had our own room with large beds. The cabin was clean, with easy access to the local market and bakery. Close proximity to beaches, restaurants and trails. We had a wonderful time and plan to return!

Just right!
This little house is in the perfect location. Walk to the lake, not too many hills. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the whole house was well-stocked. Nice furnishings, towels, rugs, etc. Ample room for parking. Service was excellent. When we found that there was no snow shovel and snow predicted overnight - they brought one out without blinking an eye! The communication from Tahoe Time Vacation Rentals was always just in time and appreciated. We will come here again!

Comfortable & Cozy Cabin
I stayed at this property during a girl’s weekend getaway and it was perfectly pleasant. A quiet place to land in between sightseeing and spending time in the water! The cabin is well equipped with anything you might need during your stay.

Prime location!!
This cabin was perfect for our family! We could walk to the beach, to Sunnyside and to West Shore Market. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. We hope to visit again this winter.

Fantastic Cabin
This was one of our best vacations. So relaxing. Great location. It's close to all the trails, lake and river. So much to do here. The cabin is nice and cozy. Has all you need. Everything is updated and working well. Had a great experience and will be back in the winter for some snow play.

Beautiful Place
My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin this spring. It has everything you need. Kitchen fully stock with outside BBQ. We immediately felt like at home, except we were on vacation in this magical place. We didn't want to leave. It is conveniently located, close to everything. Lake is just a couple minutes away. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway
We rented this cabin for our Friends Weekend! There were four of us. This cabin was so perfect! The location -we walked to FireSign restaurant every morning, walked to the store, walked to the beach, and even thought about walking to town (a 2 mile easy hike on an established path). With access to the private beach, we paddle boarded, swam, and relaxed for 4 days. The well stocked kitchen was a fun place to gather, cook together, share cocktails and play games. The deck was large and comfortable with seating for many more than the four of us. The bedding was comfortable and we all reported “the best sleep ever” each morning. Close to everything, and a wonderful space to call home while we wondered and explored the amazing beauty that surrounded us. We are already planning our next get away and would highly recommend this perfect cabin
