REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6114 | TOT #7145 | Max Occupancy is 10 | 4 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.

County Rules
As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.

Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone’s safety. It is each guest’s responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you’ll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.

Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it’s essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.

Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Family Celebrating Father's and Two Birthdays
Our family of five adults, two children and our dogs had such a wonderful experience staying at this home and in Tahoe City. We normally stay on the south shore however, this was a perfect location walking with our grandchildren through Skylandia park and playing at the lake. No dogs are allowed on the beach but are able to walk through the park. Communication with Tahoe time was easy, the house was immaculate and the enclosed backyard allowed us to enjoy the hot tub and play a few rounds of croquet and ladder golf. Everything you would need for a relaxing vacation is right here. If you have small children (ours 1 1/2 and 4) we used two baby gates for the kitchen and hallway plus some play yard panels to block off one of the kitchen doorways above where we placed the baby gate. Our 4 year old was fine maneuvering everything. I would definitely recommend this home for your next vacation.

Wedding/Vacation get away
This home was perfect in so many ways! It was very clean, and laid out so nice for a large family. It was an overall incredible experience...very clean, fenced in yard was beautiful with all of the amenities you could possibly need and walking distance to our niece's wedding at Skylandia State Beach & Park. Any issues we ran into, Debi or Stacy responded immediately and all of our contact with staff was great as well...thank you so much! This was the best house overall that we have ever rented all the way around. Big thank you to Debi, Stacy & Mike!!! We will definitely be back next year, cannot wait. It felt so much like a home away from home! Thank you, Sharon & Brian

Excellent
Loved the house and all the modern lighting, fancy skylight shades and of course the back yard. So nice to be able to just let my little ones ( 2 hypoallergenic dogs) out back at night and early mornings vs having to get dressed and walk em. Of course the smoke and conditions were a downer but nothing we could do about that. The only thing I would recommend getting is a kurig type coffee maker. People like using the pods now a days vs making a whole pot of coffee. I brought mine from home cause my last 3 rentals didn’t have it. Otherwise it was great and very detail oriented.

Best we ever rented
Beautiful, well appointed house. The owners love for the house shows in a million of little details. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was an extra bonus for our 6-year-old. The only thing I would change is replace one queen bed with two tween as not everyone wants or can co-sleep. Stacy at the property management company was incredibly helpful, attentive, responsive, and understanding. We would love to stay at Sugarpine Chalet again.
