REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6657 | TOT #16196 | Max Occupancy is 5 | 1 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.

County Rules
As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.

Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone’s safety. It is each guest’s responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you’ll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.

Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it’s essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.

Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

Perfect Get Away
Best Lake Tahoe location - panoramic lake views from deck, living and dining rooms. We were able to prepare our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen and have the best table in Lake Tahoe while dining either in the dining or living room. The home is so conveniently located to beach, walking trails and shops that we didn't use our vehicle during our entire stay. My home improvement suggestion is to get new living room furniture to match the outside beauty. Excellent communications with property management team.

Words Can't Describe It!
I cannot explain the emotional, physical respite and serenity this cottage gave me and my older parents. I am not a stranger to Pine Cove but this is the first time we stayed at #1. The cottage is cozy, yet spacious enough for 4-5 people and two small fur babies. The first thing you see is the expansive, heavenly view of the majestic crystalline lake with a long, well maintained private dock- it is a site that truly made you pause every time because it looks too good to be true. The expansive window gives the unobstructed view and the kitchen and dining also offer the same gorgeous backdrop. Literally on the sandy shore, we had the deck and our own lakeside beach steps away. The ambiance of this cottage is authentic vintage classic Tahoe. We plan to return soon and be regulars. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

Cozy and convenient
It's a nice place. Not huge, but enough room for our family of four plus a small dog. The location on the beach offers great views and room to walk around. I expect it'd be wonderful to be on the lake in summer; in winter it was convenient to stores, restaurants, and ski resorts. There were a ton of towels, sheets, and pots and pans. I contacted the property manager once, to request extra blankets, and they were friendly and very prompt in helping out.

Breathtaking Views / Lovely spot
First time to Tahoe. Stayed four nights. This location/ North shire is one of my favorites after exploring the lake. Would never stay on south. Love this place for its view. Old but well kept cottage and very well supplied. Very comfy beds! Very clean. Having beach access right there is wonderful. And fantastic deck and magnificent views. Great restaurant near by is Soule Domain. Stay away from Italian place. The guide book they leave you is the best I have ever had at any rental in 25 years. Needs a little updating tho (some places have closed). Very peaceful even with groups on the beach with sound systems and dogs. Only drawback is lack of parking but in off season in May you can park extra car into he Main Street. Only three east steps into cabin so easy walking and access for carrying or disabled. We all loved this place. Would definitely come again. But would be nervous of summer crowds and traffic and glad we came in May.

That lovely view
Our stay at Pine Cove #1 could not have been better. The incredible view and warm sunroom are its top highlights. The other highlight is that they allow dogs. The house is comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. They property manager is very quick to reply if there’s any questions. Enjoy your stay at this lovely location!
