Winter is getting closer, and Palisades Tahoe has announced its projected Opening Day for the 2026/27 ski season: November 25, 2026.

As the temperatures begin to drop and the first snow starts appearing on the peaks, excitement is building for another winter in North Lake Tahoe. Opening Day means the return of first chairs, fresh turns, snowy mountain views, and another season of skiing and riding at one of Tahoe’s most iconic resorts.

Projected Opening Day: November 25, 2026

Palisades Tahoe is currently targeting Wednesday, November 25, 2026 for Opening Day. As with all ski resort opening dates, this date is weather and conditions permitting and may change depending on snowfall, temperatures, snowmaking conditions, and mountain readiness.

Opening Day lift and terrain availability will also depend on conditions. Palisades Tahoe is expected to release additional information about available lifts, terrain, mountain operations, and Opening Day festivities as the date gets closer.
