Sierra Community House brings people together to build a stronger, safer, and more resilient community across North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.
Through hunger relief, crisis intervention, legal services, and family strengthening programs, we walk alongside our neighbors in times of need and moments of growth. Every day, we work to ensure that individuals and families have access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: when one person is supported, the entire community is strengthened.
We are honored to invite you to support the 36th Annual Tahoe Chocolate & Wine Festival, a cherished community tradition that brings together generosity, connection, and celebration.
This year’s theme, “Ripple Effect: Making Waves of Change,” reflects the profound truth that small actions can create lasting impact. Each investment in Sierra Community House sets off a ripple—reaching families facing food insecurity, individuals seeking safety, and community members working toward stability and self-sufficiency.
We are so pleased to announce Dead Winter Carpenters as our entertainment this year!! After we indulge in Chocolate, Wine and a delicious dinner prepared by the Hyatt, get ready to boogie on the dance floor with this incredible band!

Go bold with color and sparkle or keep it chic and simple—let the theme inspire you with shades of blue, teal, and shimmering metallics that catch the light like water. Tahoe style always welcomes comfort with a touch of fun—wear what makes you feel confident and ready to make waves of change!

- 6:00pm: Doors open
- 6:00-7:30pm: Chocolate & Wine Tasting — vote for your favorites, while also indulging in a delicious dinner by the Hyatt, complete with carving stations, artisan cheese boards, and more.
- 7:30–8:15pm: Program and Auction
- 8:15–10:00ish pm: Live music from Dead Winter Carpenters
